Inspirations

Beverley's work is inspired by Nature, Poetry and Literature, Spirituality/Religion, Ancient cultures/Myths, Emotions; own gender (Female)

She paints in soft pastel as her preferred medium as this gives her immediacy of application which allows truly spontaneous creativity.

"I try not to get involved in analysis and theorising. A painter has to live on ther wits, has to trust their imagination. I could never manufature my art to fit some percived market; neither could I spend hours worrying about accompanying literature. The work should justify itself.
